Why we have done it?
Skill deficits are a major bottleneck in sustainable activation of the long-term unemployed. Those managing to get back to work often end up in less complex and skill intensive jobs and have fewer opportunities to develop their potential. Those long-term unemployed not successful in making a transition to work are likely to face even more severe and complex skill deficits, among other problems.
OVERVIEW
Adult learning covers the entire spectrum of what we learn after leaving initial education and training. This includes work- and career-oriented learning, obtaining new qualifications, up-skilling or re-skilling for employment, but also learning for personal development and active citizenship.

TARGET
1 – The (re)integration of low-skilled workers into labor markets and their upskilling which is a key policy challenge for European economies, but locally for our countries too.
2 – Fostering qualification and upskilling, so learners can improve their employability, income, wellbeing, civic and social activity.
3 – Increase the qualification of unemployed people by creating an innovative e-platform for training search that match the special learners needs.
4 – Despite improvements, adult learning still needs to become more attractive, inclusive, accessible and flexible.
Target groups: Unemployed, Long Term Unemployed, Inactive, Employed and Self Employed Persons
